About The Queen’s Hall
The Queen’s Hall in Edinburgh is one of the city’s most revered music venues. The building was a church up until 1976 and retains many of the original features.
Some of the greatest performers in the world appear at the Queen’s Hall, as do many amateur and youth musicians from around the country.
Since 2011, the Queen’s Hall has partnered with the City of Edinburgh Instrumental Music Service which teaches over 5000 school pupils from Edinburgh, aged between 8 and 18.
Nicola Benedetti MBE has recently launched a new fundraising campaign for further renovations so that the future of the building may be secured. The fundraising campaign will coincide with the building’s 40th birthday as a music venue in 2019 and the buildings 200th birthday in 2023.
